Message from our president
Carolee Miller
Spring 2005

Thank you again to all of you who willingly offer to help and do such a
great job.  Those individuals who attended our Craftsbury and Great Glen
weekends reported that they had a wonderful time.  See our web site for a
more in-depth report of these events.  If any of you have suggestions as to
events or a better method of doing things, please let me know as we are
always open to new ideas and helpful hints.

Highlights from NERSFL Winter Trips
Once again this winter NERSFL participants and guides enjoyed two great
events.  We started off the New Year by enjoying the wonderful skiing and snow
shoeing at Craftsbury Nordic Center in Vermont.  As always we were promised
snow and we got it!  We had two new participants and two new guides join the
group making our total 35.  Our auction was successful and fun as was the
chance to socialize with each other.  If you haven't been to Craftsbury, mark
your calendar for next January; you don't know what you are missing!
Our March trip provided us with yet another weekend of great skiing and snow
shoeing at Great Glen Trails.  We stayed at the Royalty Inn where we swam and
spent time in the hot tub. The 21 members in attendance enjoyed fun and
friendship and we were pleased to have had 2 new participants and 1 new guide.
Many of our new members will be coming back next year as they had such a great
time skiing they even purchased skis.  If you've not been to Great Glen Trails
come and experience their hospitality and great snow conditions even in March.

The NERSFL Board of Directors invites you and encourages you to volunteer for
one of our committees.  We need people who are interested in:  planning and
organizing events, fund raising and outreach.

If you are interested, please let us know by e-mail to, or by US Mail  to
