Message
from president
Christine
Nason
Well
folks it’s hard to believe that in just ten short weeks we’ll be in the
midst
of winter and enjoying the countryside of the lovely state of VT As
winter
approaches NERSFLers look forward to once again enjoying skiing and
snowshoeing
at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. In
February we will revisit one of our favorite spots in NH, the Royalty
Inn. Skiing will take place at either Bear
Notch
or Great Glen Trails. Remember that our
major fundraiser (silent auction and raffle) is held in Craftsbury. It is lots of fun and a wonderful way to
re-gift
unwanted holiday gifts and benefit NERSFL at the same time. At this
time the
crisp air and snows are even harder for me to conjure up because in
June of
this year I moved to the Suncoast of FL. As the leaves continue to fall
in New
England, warm weather and blooming flowers abound here in Clearwater. This all reminds me that my term as President
is shortly coming to an end. In February
there will be elections for four new board members and a new slate of
officers. Please consider running for
the board. It takes such little time.
NERSFL needs your ideas, energy and enthusiasm.
Wishing you healthful holidays.
