On June 19, Summer Solstice weekend, I will be hiking the Presidential Traverse consisting of the following mountains in the Presidential Range which are located in the White Mountains in New Hampshire:

 

Madison, Adams, Jefferson, Clay, Washington, Monroe, Franklin, Eisenhower, Pierce, Jackson & Webster

 

This is a 23.5-mile hike and with a good southerly wind and cloudy conditions it should take me 14+/- hours to accomplish.  Start time is 4:00 AM and I am anticipating finishing by …however long it takes!

 

I have been involved with the New England Regional Ski for Light program for years.
